constant speed control
Angles and geometries that respect the human body’s neutral posture. Shapes that match the exact anatomy and functionality of human hands. Grips that are sized and contoured to ensure comfort and allow for the efficient transmission of the body’s force. Read More

constant speed control
You know how the cruise control works on your truck? CSC is the same concept. When your power tool encounters a heavier load, the motor speed tends to slow down, and you have to press more on the trigger to compensate. With CSC, the machine does it by itself. More control of the speed means more control of the result. See for yourself.

megatorque
You always say you need more power. But what is power? A physics professor would say it is "torque times speed". So what is torque? Think of it as a "brute force". Torque is what makes your car climb a steep hill, not the power. And, torque is what lets you drive large screws into a think piece of lumber. When you see the MegaTorque™ icon on a WORX cordless drill, you know that its torque value is best in its class.

dual attachment system
It's all about flexibility. Your sand paper has Velcro®? No problem.. you can still clamp the paper to the base of your WORX Sander.

2.0 ah
Believe it or not, voltage is not everything. So the next time you're looking at a cordless tool, pay attention to the batteries Ah value. It indicates the quantity of energy that can be stored in the batter pack. The higher the better. Just think about your car's gas tank: the bigger it is, the less you have to stop at gas stations.

variable speed
As you already know, the same speed does not work for every job. Drilling in metal requires a slower speed or all you'll get is a burnt up bit and a cloud of smoke. But try using the same slow speed to drill into concrete and it may take you a week to finish your hole. WORX tools provide a large range of pre-set speeds which give you the freedom to choose the right speed for your job.

Demanding workers believe that keyless chucks may be OK for woodworking, but keyed chucks are the only way to go if you need to drill into metal or concrete. This may be true for other chucks but not with the WORX Anti-Slip Chuck™. It makes sure your bit stays tight even in the toughest application.

12 v 14.4v 18v
Most people think the higher the voltage, the more powerful the machine is. This is only partially true. If you do the math of combining voltage with Ah, you may be surprised. Believe it or not, a 12V drill with 1Ah battery has the same power as a 24V drill with 1Ah battery.

counterbalance
"For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction" is what you learned school (Sir Isaac Newton's third law). The problem comes when the "action" is the constant pounding of a rotary hammer drill or a reciprocating saw, and the "reaction" is that same pounding on your hand, arm and body. The counterbalance mechanism is designed to limit that unwanted reaction.

pendulum action
A nice feature in WORX jigsaws and reciprocating saws. By combing a linear stroke with an elliptical orbital action, this feature reproduces the motion of a master woodworker cutting with a handsaw. With the capability to choose from 4 different levels of orbital action, you can go from extra-fast cuts in rough wood to extra-clean cuts in sheet metal in the flip of a switch.

laserguide
Basic geometry tells you that the fastest way between two points is a straight line. Now comes the hard part... trying to cut along a straight line. That's where our patented LaserGuide™ system comes in. You simply align your laser beam to your pencil mark and make the cut. Perfectly straight, every time. Now what was that little notch on the base of my saw for again?

softstart
There's a bigger adrenaline rush than accelerating a sports car 0 to 60 in 5.2 secs. Now imagine if the car were pulling a 2-ton trailer. Probably not quite as smooth. Well, that's what happens when you start a power took with a large diameter disc attached... a herky-jerky motion that can rattle your hands and damage your work-piece. Soft Start prevents sudden jarring of the tool, when spinning larger discs and makes for safer, smoother start-ups.

slim body
This is not another diet or weight-loss program. Some tools, like small angle grinders, are best operated by gripping their motor housing. Unless your hand is the size of Michael Jordan's you will appreciate the comfort and control of the WORX Slim Body.

serviceable brushes
This feature means you can replace worn motor brushes without taking apart y our power tool (as you already know, the real hassle is putting it back together... There's always an extra screw left over). For tools with serviceable brushes, just remove a screw, change the brush, replace the screw, all done

aluminum base
Strong buildings start with a firm foundation and the same is true for tools like the WORX sanders. As opposed to common plastic bases, the cast aluminum base provides a superior planarity and stability for the tool, which means a better and more even finish. Also aluminum helps to dissipate the heat built up from friction which can prevent damage to that beautifully antique table you are refinishing.

spindle lock
Ever tried to change a circular saw blade or grinding disk while it's moving? Not really easy. This button keeps the blade or disc locked in place, so it's easy to remove and replace it.

quick adjust
Earlier we explained the beauty of tool-free blade change, but what about the hassle to make all those other adjustments? When you see the QuickAdjust symbol on a WORX tool, it means you can make those minor adjustments and fine-tuning completely tool free.

tool free blade change
No more searching for lost wrenches or fumbling with awkward nuts and screws. WORX too-free blade change mechanisms let you change blades in seconds. They also keep blades locked firm and tight when cutting.

WORX machines with inter grated dust suction are designed with a dust port which allows you to either use the included dust bag or canister or connect it directly to your wet dry VAC hose... whichever diameter you may have.

hammer force
Imagine this: drive a nail into a piece of wood by stepping on it with all your body weight. Now visualize giving the nail a stomp with the heel of your boot. The second method is more effective, right? That's the idea behind Hammerforce™: a sequence of big shots with a relatively small weight, that allows you to drill quicker, even in rock-hard concrete.

dust sealed rocker switch
Sanders and angle grinders live in a dusty environment. That's why repair centers are used to fixing literally hundreds of tools that come in with dust-filled switches. This is not the case with WORX tools and our Dust Sealed Rocker Switch.

nokey chuck system
Have you ever wished that you had an extra hand? Well, we're not plastic surgeons but we did design our WORX keyless chucks to be conveniently operated with only one hand. So think about that the next time you are changing your bit at the top of a 15-foot ladder.

antivibration handel
Auxiliary handles with the Anti-Vibration feature are coupled to the machines body by means of a special elastomer that's able to dampen the vibration of the tool. So forget about that unpleasant sense of discomfort you have been used to for years.

automatic brake
Nobody likes guests who over-stay their welcome... like your mother-in-law who came to stay for the weekend and instead stayed a month. The same can be said for bits and blades that keep spinning after you've released the trigger. It's definitely annoying and can be dangerous. That's why many of your WORX tools come up with an automatic blade brake which helps to stop the motor from turning as soon as you release the trigger.
